It was a case of back to court for Back to Black singer Amy Winehouse
when she pleaded guilty last week in Milton Keynes Magistrates Court to
assaulting a theatre manager at a Christmas pantomime.
Accompanied by minders, Amy appeared before District Judge Peter Crabtree
to admit charges of common assault and disorder.

Amy, 26, said she had been drinking before going to Milton Keynes Theatre
for a performance of Cinderella.
When there she swore at frontof-house manager Richard Pound and pulled his hair.
She was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 in costs,
plus £100 compensation to her victim.
