The belle of the CES ball is definitely Lady Gaga.
The Grammy nominee - she's up for five on Jan. 31 - made two packed appearances
on the main show floor.
Polaroid has signed the singer on as creative director on a specialty line of imaging products.
No new specific products were announced at her CES appearance,
but that didn't stop several hundred conference attendees from going gaga at getting a glimpse
of the singer and writer of hits such as Paparazzi and Bad Romance.
Her 2008 release The Fame is up for an Album of the Year Grammy.
During a short question and answer session, she said when Polaroid -
which went into bankruptcy in 2001 - stopped making cameras and film
"I was outraged. I'm interested in bringing it back … (and) combining it
with the digital era and making something new."
